SVG Protocol published in the JCD

The latest article of the Agnini Brothers, written together with Team Atlanta has been recently published in the Winter Edition of the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.

22

The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry (jCD) is a peer-reviewed journal. The AACD’s flagship publication provides the latest information on current esthetic clinical treatments, dental technology, laboratory technician techniques, and more from the profession’s leading interdisciplinary specialists.

The Article presented a new Surgical Prosthetic approach for the immediate post extractive socket management: The Surgical Veneer Grafting Protocol.

33
This approach aims to limit the buccal palatal contour change after extracting a tooth in the Esthetic Area and it has been thought for patient with a thin gingival phenotype. More in specific it is a combination of bone graft and connective tissue graft which can help in overbuilding the socket site and achieve a sustainable and predictable esthetic outcome.

This approach will be presented for the first time worldwide at the DentalXp Latin America in Cartagena from the 28 to the 30 of April with a lecture titled: Surgical Veneer Grafting (SVG) Protocol: a new approach for the Immediate Implant in the Esthetic Zone

The mission of the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry is to educate AACD members, and other professionals in the field, on the art and science of cosmetic dentistry. The objective is to enhance readers’ knowledge and skills while showcasing the latest cosmetic techniques and procedures. The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry strives to help readers become better clinicians, so they can offer their patients the best—and most responsible—treatment possible.

The NeO presents a range of advanced design features, including a unique coronal cutting flute, innovative shape of variable threads combined with two micro threads and a patent-pending centering feature of the apical part. The state-of-the art design enhances the implant’s distinct clinical benefits: high and firm primary engagement, high primary stability (in complex cases), reduced pressure on the cortical plate, easy penetration and long term esthetic results. With primary stability enhancers matched with bone stress reduction elements, NeO is powerful and, yet, remarkably gentle to the bone.
